Organizing

So this is before I organized my bookshelf in the living room. You know, sometimes when you are very busy things get unorganized and out of place. It can't be helped sometimes.

It got a little unorganized over the past few months, so I decided to organize it this past week. I finally got it all done tonight.

I decided to wait til around Christmas to post pictures of the tree + decor that we have around here. I did some gift wrapping today. I still got to wrap a couple of Dad's gifts then we are pretty much set for Christmas. We got the turkey today + a few of the trimmings. I'm also making a cheesecake for dessert. I'm very excited to be baking again. It's been so long since I made a nice dessert.

It's Official!

The Christmas tree is fully decorated! Put it up a little late this year, but it's better a little late than never right?
I'm going to town today to pick up some Christmas gifts plus two tickets to see Three Days Grace, Breaking Benjamin, & Flyleaf in Peoria on Jan 15th.
I'll be posting pictures of the tree later :)

A dear lady I knew for two years has been murdered. :( :(
She always came into where I work & I'd see her where she worked all the time & we'd talk. I knew her when she was pregnant with her daughter. We'd talk about her baby all the time. I used to work with her ex & she would come in to see him then we would chat. She was always so kind & polite.

I just saw her last week. I can't believe she is gone. She left behind a one year old daughter. Holly, her daughter, & her mom would come into where I work at least twice a week & I'd see her in drive thru all the time.

I'll always remember you Holly. Thank you for being so kind to me & being such a wonderful soul.


MAHOMET--22 year old Holly Cassano was found dead in her home in Candlewood Estates. Officers are asking for help to find who's behind the crime. Investigators say the killer may have cuts or scratches from what happened. They want people to be on the lookout for anything suspicious to find this killer. Cassano was last seen leaving her job at Meijer around 10:30 Sunday night Her body was found by a family member Monday morning. Officers are interviewing anyone who knew Cassano and looking for clues. "We're trying to do what we call a victimology, background we're trying to talk to everyone that knew here to get an idea of what she was all about [and] what kind of a person she was," said Lt. Ed. Ogle. Investigators say Cassano did have problems with an ex-boyfriend. They would not comment beyond that. There are no suspects at this point. Deputies are still searching for answers.

MAHOMET- Holly Cassano worked at Meijer and until recently also worked at Bob Evans in Champaign. Her co-workers joked that they'd call her the "podium princess". She was a hostess at the restaurant and all of the customers loved her.
The people that knew her say there's one thing that mattered to her the most.
"She just cared about her daughter so much it seemed like whenever she came up here it was her daughter that was her whole thing," said co-worker, Brad Lytruelove.
Her daughter was not home at the time of the crime. She's staying with family now. Investigators are not saying if this was a random act or may have had a connection to Cassano. People that knew her say it just doesn't seem possible something like this could happen to someone like her.

We should learn more on how a Mahomet Mom was killed. An autopy is set for today. Champaign County Deputies are looking for who killed Holly Cassano. The 22 year old was found dead in her home on Dupage Street Monday.
A family member found Cassano's body yesterday morning. She has a one year old daughter who was not home at the time
Neighbors in the area can't believe it. They say nothing like this has ever happened here. It has people completely shaken up. Deputies say the investigation is far from over.

I saw some Vulchers out there to.
I love how my camera takes pictures of the trees & all. They look almost professional is what I have been told.


All these forests I surprised I didn't run into bigfoot ;) lol.

Car Show Part Two

Car Show

So yesterday was AMBUCS and as usual they had a car show. I think this was the biggest car show they had so far.

I took many more out there as well. I might post another blog with some more photos later.

Why Do I bother to keep Myspace anymore? One of the few reasons I keep my two accounts is because 1. I have one relative I talk to almost everyday. 2. Because of a few bands 3. Only way to communicate with Rhiannon. The other few friends I talk to on there I can speak to in an email pretty much. I first got Myspace back in September of 2006. I enjoyed coming on the site every day & talking to people, but now you see no one really talks to each other. All they want is a high friend count & don't care to talk. Some days I wonder why I even bother logging in.


I have one account on Myspace that I sent at least 25 requests over the past 4 months for them to delete it, but no they will not delete it. What can I do? The reason why I deleted that account was because this one person created a fake account with someone else's photos & kept bothering me. The person stole someone else's identity. Don't they know they could go to jail for that? I took screenshots of everything + the Ip address matched the person I thought it was. Just in case it happens again, I got proof! Anyway, I just wish that Myspace would delete that one account already.

Coming up in November we are going to downtown Chicago on a bus! I'm excited. The Chicago place mall is where we are going to be dropped off by. It's supposed to be seven floors of stores & food places. Gonna take lots of pics for sure. We are going to be only a few blocks from the "Willis Tower". Which was called the "Sears Tower".
How exciting it will be to be downtown! :)

I was surprised to see Aaron Lewis moving around on stage like he was. The last time I saw him he was pretty much standing in one place. I was amazed. The energy that Mike had was awesome, too. :)
All the bands were awesome. :)
I also saw Our Lady Peace, Trapt, Exit 714, Red Line Chemistry, Janus, Lucabrasi, Make Me Break Me, etc. A lot of local St. Louis bands :P

Oh, it's such a great feeling watching the bands play in St. Louis @ the Verizon. The place was almost sold out & my goodness all the energy! What a feeling it is singing along with everyone. What a great time! Can't wait to go back!!!

Fall Festival

So I went to the Fall Festival here in town on Wednesday.
I just walked around & played one game.

Bought a new camera today. My Panasonic was a good camera, but it did not have video on it so I took it back.

Got A New Camera..

Bought a new camera today. My brother Steven gave me a gift card for Wal Mart. Since my Kodak went bye bye on me I decided to buy a new camera. I'm going to try it out tomorrow in the daylight to see what kind of pictures it takes outdoors. I needed a new camera since mine broke and I have a concert coming up in STL in three weeks. I'm also going visit Sarah at her new house next week, so gotta have some pictures taken there. :)
I'm excited for her. I'm glad she is closer to her family. :)
I will see her often. That will not change.

Will see if the camera is a keeper. If it does not take decent outdoor photos I will take it back & find something else.

Anyway, working on fixing my page up a bit. Going to be a hot week. Hopefully it won't be real hot by the time the 23rd rolls around. Can't believe summer will be over soon..

Lately I have been on a reading spree.(I guess you could call it that LOL).
I bought a bunch of books at the attic sale. Right now I am reading "Harry And The Henderson's". If you are a fan of the movie you will love the book.
Last night I walked up to "Jack's Cafe" & bought home dinner. Let me tell you Jack's has the best fries around next to "meathead's".

I haven't been out and about with my camera lately. The screen broke, so next month I am getting a new one. I had my Kodak a year and a half and I got my use out of it.

Going to town today to pick up a dvd. I'm in a movie watching and book reading mood lately.

Playground Fun

On our way home yesterday we stopped at a park in Ashkum, IL for a rest. It was a big and beautiful park.

I had fun. I climbed up a tall ladder & slid down the slide :)

Ah the merry-go-round! The last time I was one one of these was in Downs at Dooley park many years ago. About a year ago or so they remodeled Dooley park with a new playground & they took out the merry-go-round. :( So there are none around here anymore. Might have to go out hunting for one in B/N again.

You know what I thought was creepy?

Someone scratched "Jackie" into a bench in the park. I thought it was creepy but dad said there are other Jackie's out there. I just thought it was odd that it was on the bench right there & then, you know what I mean?
