Carnival Of Madness Kick Off 7/31/12

Sorry about my lack of posts, had internet problems for the last couple of months. Been hard for me to be online much. Anyway, I went to the Carnival Of Madness tour kick off in Springfield, IL. Most of my pictures are of the lead singers, since they were in the best lighting. It was a great time, well, for the most part. I'll get to that in a bit. New Medicine's Jake - Second time seeing New Medicine, I like some of their tunes. I think they have some good live energy. This was my first time seeing Cavo live, I thought they did a great performance. Good energy as well. Next was Halestorm. 3rd Halestorm show for me. Good set, good time. Some shots of Lzzy & Arejay to share. During 'It's not you' I was rockin' out and all of a sudden I felt someone put there arms around my waist.. turned out to be this drunk, well I turned around and yelled at him to keep his hands to himself and don't touch me. I had to tell him twice and I think I scared him.. He was like "I'm sorry, I'm sorry." I don't care if you are drunk or not, you just don't go putting your arms around someone you don't know like that. Anyway, I wasn't gonna let that ruin my night. It did upset me though. Chevelle!!! my 4th Chevelle show..Goodness I love their live shows. :) Been a fan since 2002. Yeah, I may have not been to a lot of their shows, but it doesn't make me any less of a fan than you. Evanesence. These are all shots of Amy Lee since she was the one I could get the best shots of. Setlist: What You Want, Going Under, The Other Side, Weight of the World, Made of Stone, Lithium, Lost in Paradise, My Heart Is Broken, Sick, The Change, Whisper, Oceans, Call Me When You're Sober, Imaginary, Bring Me To Life...Encore: Disappear, Swimming Home, My Immortal. Got to meet Amy Lee after the show. Unfortunately her bodyguard said she is only signing autographs tonight, no pictures. Which I though wasn't right, but I guess that's what happens sometimes with famous bands. I felt disappointed. She signed my EV fan club t shirt and all three albums.

Shawn came out and said no pictures with the band and only one autograph. I was sad that he said no pictures. I didn't care if I got any autographs. All I cared about was meeting them and getting pictures with them.
I met all 4 guys. As some of you know, I met Adam and Brad two times before this and Neil once before. First time meeting Barry. He was amazingly nice. I bought another copy of "Life Starts Now" just so I could get to meet the band for sure.

I apologize in advance for me looking a little goofy in the pics lol. The heat got to me by that time :P

The amazing Adam and I. We weren't allowed pictures with the band, but I said to Adam "I'd like to get pictures with you when can I?" Adam said, "How about right now!" Awww :) He truly does care. I must say I truly love and respect this man.


Now Brad he is awesome. I walked over by him and he said, "Hi Jackie". I was like wow he does remember me lol. That made my day. To have a band person call you by your name is awesome lol. He asked me how I have been and I told him. He knows I love him . I told Brad in Moline that I loved him. Anyway Brad told me to stay safe and they'll be around again soon.

People were like in shock that I had my pics taken with Adam and Brad lol. Even Shawn ( the manager) was lol.

Meeting Fireflight And Revive

Couldn't have our pictures taken with them until the line died down so I just hung around for like a half hour and waited so I could have a pic or two with them.
They signed my "Unbreakable" cd. Each and every member was so nice.
There was no room to get behind the table and stand with them so everyone had to take pics like this. Some people even sat on the table lol.

Nothing like meeting your favorite bands and meeting bands. It's a huge part of my life that I will never give up for any person on this earth. What an amazing experience this show was! :)

I Feel So Much Better Now That You're Gone Forever

Didn't end up baking cookies after all.
I just wasn't in the mood to bake this evening. Got some housework done today.
I took some pictures today of Paul. Will have them up next post since I don't feel like uploading them right now. :)

Right now I am sitting here watching Three Days Grace: Live At The Palace. What an awesome DVD! :)
It's been 8 months since I last saw them live. I miss them dearly. I cannot wait till they tour again. 6 times just wasn't enough for me. :D
I could go on & on in this post about them. They are such amazing people & I am glad they are my friends! :)
Ben Burnley is going to be on Cage Rattle radio tomorrow night & I won't be home to listen to it. Oh well, I hear about what went on with it when I go on shallowbay.com when I get home tomorrow night.

^ That night was so awesome, being in front row seeing your favorite bands preform right in front of you is just beyond amazing. :) But, meeting them & being friends with them is way better! :O
