Lots has happened in my life since I last posted. 2016 was an interesting year. Steven and I got engaged last April. I have been to two new states last year; Minnesota and Michigan. Both of those trips involve Three Days Grace concerts. My buddy Marjeana and I traveled to WI, MN, and MI to see concerts..those were fun trips for sure..lots of memories. On a lot of these trips her and I cried and laughed together..been quite a ride. Also been to Indiana, Kentucky, Missouri and Ohio for shows. I also got to meet some of my online friends who I have known for several years through Facebook through Three Days Grace and My Darkest Days. I attended several concerts last year in several states; Three Days Grace, 3 Years Hollow, ADD, September Mourning, Filter, Stitched Up Heart, Powerman 5000, Sick Puppies, Mindset Evolution, Rob Zombie, Halestorm, Lacey Sturm, 9 Electric, HellYeah, In This Moment.. and many more I can't think of off the top of my head at the moment. Some bands I have seen at least two or three times last year. I think I went to at least 25-30 shows last year.
I worked two jobs for a few months last summer, but the one job slowed down business wise so I decided to just stick with one job and look for another full time job. At the end of September last year I ended up finding a new full time job. I advanced within my first month and at this time, it looks like I will be finding myself making another advancement here soon. I just got some health insurance with this job which I am thankful for. I'm also looking for a second job, something part time to go along with it. Things do fall into place, it just takes time. Hard work pays off. Steven and I are doing good. He's looking for a part time job as well. We are either going to get married later this year or next year. I will be gaining a sister in law, (possibly a brother in law too :P) a mother in law and grandparents and some aunts and uncles. Still deciding on a few things yet for the wedding. It will fall into place of course, :)
This year concert-wise I will be seeing Never Say Die which is Reid and Brendan's band. If you don't know who Reid and Brendan are, they are in My Darkest Days. They are going to be touring the USA!! It's been a little over 4 years since I've seen Reid and Brendan last and am looking forward to giving them hugs and catching up. Can't wait for them to announce their tour dates. I know Three Days Grace will be doing some dates this year and am looking forward to that and plus showing Steven them live and meeting them. Just have to wait and see who else announces tours and such this spring and summer. If the weather is good on the 17th of this month, I will be heading to Louisville, KY to see Powerman 5000 and Orgy with Marjeana.
I will try and post again soon. Hope everyone is doing well. :)

Stevie and I went to Texas Roadhouse, the Indianapolis zoo, and he even sat through Mockingjay part 2 with me lol...it was his first time seeing any of the Hunger Games movies and he couldn't understand the movie lol. He said he wanted to go see it with me cause it would make me happy :P. WE had such a good time last weekend and I can't wait to get on the bus to Cincinnati, OH to spend 4 days of my vacation with him starting on the 16th. :) We're gonna have so much fun. He's picking me up from the bus station at like 10:30pm at night :P We are going to celebrate Christmas during our 4 days together. He will be so surprised on what I got him :). Annette gave me some ideas on themes for picture taking 'cause she wants us to get some professional type pictures with mine and Stevie's cameras and she said she wants prints, so I told Stevie let's find some parks in Ohio to get some pictures taken. I will be in a dress in these pictures so this will be interesting lol. I told Stevie to dress up :P. I'm glad everyone that has met him at work, love him and my dad likes him which is awesome too lol. I told Stevie that when I stay with him for four days that I'm cooking all the meals for us lol. How exciting. I will be sure to post a bit about my trip when I come back!

8 Years ago Stevie and I met on Skem9.com. Which is a website that we could make MySpace, Skem9, and several other website layouts on and submit images we made too. We became buddies. He never once treated me disrespectfully in any way. Little did we know that we both liked each other a lot. He lived in MD and I lived in IL. But distance was a bit of a factor. We've both been through a lot in our lives over the last 8 years. We've kept in contact over the years on MySpace and Facebook. Stevie recently moved to Kentucky and we are not that far from each other now. And he accepts my love for my bands! We're happy! Stevie came up to see me Friday November 6th and stayed up here until that Sunday morning. We ended up hanging out on Friday night, then went to Chicago together that Saturday and had so much fun.

Last Wednesday I took the train down to St. Louis to see a friend. Myself and my friend went to the St. Louis Zoo. It was a wonderful day even though there was a light rain coming down while we walked the zoo, but we didn't let that bother us.
SO much fun and I can't wait to go back. :)

"Becoming best friends, Leads to a deeper love. Becoming best friends is the best thing you can do for any relationship that you truly care about. See, Love doesn't reach its maximum potential when it's rushed. And when you are going through the friendship process, This is where you develop a deeper bond with each other. You build on communication. You build on trust. You build on differences. You build on similarities. You build on sharing mistakes you both have made in the past. You build and keep building towards the future. The bible says, "A friend loves at ALL times". So why not become best friends first, So that you can both be at your best loving each other."

Something for everyone to keep in mind. We need to realize that we have good people in our lives and we need to cherish them and let them know and show them what they mean to us. And then there are those who give so many chances to the one they love hoping that they see what they mean to them and some are just are too blind to see it or too hard headed to realize what they have in front of them and continue to take them for granted.
