Happy Birthday Matt Walst!

I'd like to take a moment and wish a wonderful friend a happy birthday!! You're like a ray of sunshine that gives life a warmer touch and that’s the special reason why you’re loved so very much. Happy birthday Matt!!! Hope your day is special and filled with love, laughter and happiness.
This picture was taken by me in 2010. I made/gave him his birthday cake a little over a month early that year.

Bella's Lullaby & A Thousand Years

The soundtracks to all of the Twilight movies are so beautiful. This one is one of my favorite love songs. Just beautiful.

"Music Is in My blood. It's in yours too" - MW

First Single Off 3DG's New Album "Transit Of Venus"

There is a vast chasm between loving yourself and being self-absorbed. Loving yourself is about accepting who you are, warts and all, and making the most of your talents, traits and essence; it is also a position from which you feel secure and have healthy self-esteem, enabling you to reach out to others and help them grow and succeed too. On the other hand, being self-absorbed is the antithesis of healthy self-love. It is about only thinking of your own needs and wants, pushing away others’ needs and identifying only with those people and situations where you will benefit personally from interacting and connecting. A self-absorbed person concentrates only on what will get them ahead in life, a state that is rarely considerate of other people apart from their usefulness. Are you self-absorbed? To some extent, most of us can be self-absorbed at particular times in our lives, to lesser or greater extents. In many cases, we learn that it doesn’t get us the sense of fulfillment we’re seeking and we turn back to caring more about others. However, by staying self-absorbed all of the time, you risk alienating many people, becoming narcissistic and only ever putting yourself first. - Doug Oliver

Pirates We Be

Well I did not wear my hat or eye patch most of the day, but this first picture is what it looks like complete.
And here is the second one with a little closer up shot.No hat or eye patch.
I had fun dressing up and putting this together. Went out to a movie and the store in it. Thinking of possibly being Poison Ivy next year if I can find a decent green outfit. Otherwise I'll come up with some other costume idea.

What More Can I Say?

I LOVE MY DARKEST DAYS! :D I had a shirt made that said "I ♥ MDD". When I was at the last concert wearing it, someone came up to me and asked me what it meant. I thought to myself; is he really asking me what my shirt meant at a My Darkest Days show? Well apparently he thought it meant Mothers Against Drunk Driving and he said he was sorry he misunderstood.

Sneak peak at my costume

This year I am going to be a pirate for Halloween. Making it out of modern clothes. I already had the pants, boots, and scarf. So now I just need a few accessories etc. to go along with it and you will see the completed costume around Halloween.
From August 18th - September 18th, I lost a total of 10 pounds. I did not gain any of the weight back. I am getting myself motivated again to start up my constant exercising. I am eating right as well..sometimes have a candy bar here and there but I will cut any sweets like that out again so I can get to my goal weight and then some. It definitely is possible to loose the weight you want to. You just have to fight it and do not give up. Hard work pays off in the end, folks. Anyway, I will show you my completed costume in a few weeks. :)

Two More Weeks

Two more weeks until My Darkest Days! Can't wait to see them and hang with them again. :D I am sure I will have plenty of pictures to share when I get back. I am celebrating my 23rd birthday 13 days early with them. It will be a blast. :D

Day 18

Day 18: Only missed one day of a workout because of Issac’s all day rain event. Did 40 minutes of walking with weights and 5 minutes of swinging on the swings. Still not craving any sweets.. I think I am doing pretty good about it. Haven’t really eaten much sweets the last year or so. Here and there I would. But this time I cut them out for good at least ‘til I get to my goal weight.. which will be another 25 pounds.. then after I get there, once and a while I will eat some sweets, not too much. The only sugary things I am eating are fruit and well, the natural sugar that comes in our every day foods like Oatmeal, fruit etc. Goal was to lose 9 pounds in the one month period. Last time I weighed in, I lost 4 pounds so far.Hopefully I can lose those other 5 within the next two weeks, then I will have 20 pounds ‘to go til my real goal weight. I will weigh in, in 10 days then again 4 days after that, let’s hope for those good results!

Carnival Of Madness Kick Off 7/31/12

Sorry about my lack of posts, had internet problems for the last couple of months. Been hard for me to be online much. Anyway, I went to the Carnival Of Madness tour kick off in Springfield, IL. Most of my pictures are of the lead singers, since they were in the best lighting. It was a great time, well, for the most part. I'll get to that in a bit. New Medicine's Jake - Second time seeing New Medicine, I like some of their tunes. I think they have some good live energy. This was my first time seeing Cavo live, I thought they did a great performance. Good energy as well. Next was Halestorm. 3rd Halestorm show for me. Good set, good time. Some shots of Lzzy & Arejay to share. During 'It's not you' I was rockin' out and all of a sudden I felt someone put there arms around my waist.. turned out to be this drunk, well I turned around and yelled at him to keep his hands to himself and don't touch me. I had to tell him twice and I think I scared him.. He was like "I'm sorry, I'm sorry." I don't care if you are drunk or not, you just don't go putting your arms around someone you don't know like that. Anyway, I wasn't gonna let that ruin my night. It did upset me though. Chevelle!!! my 4th Chevelle show..Goodness I love their live shows. :) Been a fan since 2002. Yeah, I may have not been to a lot of their shows, but it doesn't make me any less of a fan than you. Evanesence. These are all shots of Amy Lee since she was the one I could get the best shots of. Setlist: What You Want, Going Under, The Other Side, Weight of the World, Made of Stone, Lithium, Lost in Paradise, My Heart Is Broken, Sick, The Change, Whisper, Oceans, Call Me When You're Sober, Imaginary, Bring Me To Life...Encore: Disappear, Swimming Home, My Immortal. Got to meet Amy Lee after the show. Unfortunately her bodyguard said she is only signing autographs tonight, no pictures. Which I though wasn't right, but I guess that's what happens sometimes with famous bands. I felt disappointed. She signed my EV fan club t shirt and all three albums.
