This Is What Went On In The Illinois Brewing Company

10/02/07 :)
One of the best nights of my life!

Benjamin Jackson Burnley & I!
He looked like Clark Kent for awhile last year haha. :)
What a dream come true this night was!
Ben & I with the Star Wars shirt I gave him. :)
He loved it! He said, he couldn't wait to try it on.
These photos were taken by Rhiannon.

Aaron Fink & I-
What can I say?? The man is gorgeous! :)
Rhiannon went to go get him since he was on the other side of the bar.
I about died when he came over by me. He was sooo sweet.
He hugged me & told me happy birthday. I was with him for like 15 mins.
I got two hugs from him. :)
He is one of the sweetest guys I have ever met.
Rhiannon took this photo :)

Rhiannon & I at The Illinois Brewing company. Rhiannon took this photo.

I saw Rhiannon & Dawn on the side of the stage while BB was playing & they said they saw me & told each other I looked familiar. They realized I was from Myspace. :P

The Dawn & I-
Photo taken by Mark James of Breaking Benjamin.

I have more pictures. You can see them on my Myspace.

I met all of Breaking Benjamin that night. :-)
I saw Shaun Morgan from Seether in there also, he had a pool cube & when I turned around to go by him he was gone. He must have went on to the other side of the bar which I wasn't going to run around looking for him in a big bar. LOL.
But that was okay, I got to meet him almost a year later.
It was such a great night!
This is just what went on in Illinois Brewing Company.
Watching "The Dark Knight" fir the third time since I got it on DVD last night. =D
Today, mom is making homemade chicken soup. Yum Yum. :)
I'll have a better blog up later.

Feds take Gov. Blagojevich into custody

Updated at 9:08 a.m.: Blagojevich and Harris were arrested simultaneously at their homes at about 6:15 a.m., according to the FBI. Both were awakened in their residences and transported to FBI headquarters in Chicago, where they remained at 9 a.m.

Updated at 9 a.m.: Blagojevich is slated to appear before U.S. Magistrate Judge Nan Nolan today at a time that has not yet been scheduled, according to Randall Samborn of the U.S. attorney's office.

Updated at 8:57 a.m.: On the issue of the U.S. Senate selection, federal prosecutors alleged Blagojevich sought appointment as Secretary of Health and Human Services in the new Obama administration, or a lucrative job with a union in exchange for appointing a union-preferred candidate.

Blagojevich and Harris conspired to demand the firing of Chicago Tribune editorial board members responsible for editorials critical of Blagojevich in exchange for state help with the sale of Wrigley Field, the Chicago Cubs baseball stadium owned by Tribune Co.

Blagojevich and Harris, along with others, obtained and sought to gain financial benefits for the governor, members of his family and his campaign fund in exchange for appointments to state boards and commissions, state jobs and state contracts.

"The breadth of corruption laid out in these charges is staggering," U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald said in a statement.
"They allege that Blagojevich put a 'for sale' sign on the naming of a United States senator; involved himself personally in pay-to-play schemes with the urgency of a salesman meeting his annual sales target; and corruptly used his office in an effort to trample editorial voices of criticism."

Updated at 8:48 a.m.: Gov. Rod Blagojevich and his chief of staff John Harris were arrested today by FBI agents on federal corruption charges.

Blagojevich and Harris were accused of a wide-ranging criminal conspiracy that included Blagojevich conspiring to sell or trade the Senate seat left vacant by President-elect Barack Obama in exchange for financial benefits for the governor and his wife. The governor was also accused of obtaining campaign contributions in exchange for other official actions.

Blagojevich was taken into federal custody at his North Side home this morning.

A Blagojevich spokesman said he was unaware of the development. "Haven't heard anything -- you are first to call," Lucio Guerrero said in an e-mail.

The stunning, early morning visit by authorities to the governor's North Side home came amid revelations that federal investigators had recorded the governor with the cooperation of a longtime confidant and had begun to focus on the possibility that the process of choosing a Senate successor to President-elect Barack Obama could be tainted by pay-to-play politics.

Blagojevich was taken into custody hours after the Tribune reported that the investigation into allegations of pay-to-play politics within his administration had been expanded to include his pending choice of a Senate replacement for Obama. The Democratic governor has said he expects to make a decision on the state's next senator in weeks.

Sources told the Tribune that investigators intensified their investigation into Blagojevich amid concerns that the process of choosing a new senator could be tainted. The actions by federal authorities came a day before Blagojevich's 52nd birthday.

The Tribune previously disclosed that federal investigators had recordings of Blagojevich. Those recordings were aided by the cooperation of longtime Blagojevich confidant and former congressional chief of staff John Wyma.

On Monday, Blagojevich said he has done nothing wrong in his stewardship of the state and challenged critics to record him because his discussions were "always lawful."

Cakes :)

We went out to a buffet last week. I took some photos of the lovely cakes they had there!
I had a slice of the strawberry cake.

It was very very good! And it was real whipped cream! My Favorite!

I did not have a slice of this lemon cake. It did look good though.

They also had carrot cake which I did not get a picture of since most of the cake was gone.
I had a slice of carrot cake it was very good. I haven't had cake in almost two years, so it was nice to have a few slices. I don't like to eat much cake. Every once in awhile is okay though.

Forget It..

It's wayyy toooooo cold out. I was outside for like a half hour.
Yesterday the snow was good for making a snowman, today it's not.
Didn't get any good shots of the trees so far today. The snow is blowing all over the place.
Well, here are some of the pictures I took yesterday.

Took a ton of photos of the snow yesterday. I am going outside to take some more photos.
I will share some of them with you later today. :)
My header image is one of the pictures I took yesterday. :)
I'm going to get bundled up & off I go.

I might make a snowman too! :)

Black Friday..

Went out real early this morning. Dad didn't feel good so he couldn't come with us.
Well, we picked up some DVD's, a printer & a mini vacuum. We went to a total of six stores. Almost every store we went to sold out of almost every DVD that was on special. The stores that were most packed with people were Toy's R Us & Target. The lines were sooooo long. We didn't buy anything in those stores. I brought my camera along with me today, but it was kind of dark out when I took some of the photos so, some of my shots did not turn out to well.
We left around 5am & got home around 11:30am.
It turned out to be such a beautiful day outside.
I only got a little over 4 hours of sleep this morning, so I took a nap for 45 minutes earlier this afternoon. Right now, we are all watching one of the dvd's I got today which is: Indiana Jones & The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull. :)

Did any of you go out shopping today?
If so, what did you find out there today?

I Feel So Much Better Now That You're Gone Forever

Didn't end up baking cookies after all.
I just wasn't in the mood to bake this evening. Got some housework done today.
I took some pictures today of Paul. Will have them up next post since I don't feel like uploading them right now. :)

Right now I am sitting here watching Three Days Grace: Live At The Palace. What an awesome DVD! :)
It's been 8 months since I last saw them live. I miss them dearly. I cannot wait till they tour again. 6 times just wasn't enough for me. :D
I could go on & on in this post about them. They are such amazing people & I am glad they are my friends! :)
Ben Burnley is going to be on Cage Rattle radio tomorrow night & I won't be home to listen to it. Oh well, I hear about what went on with it when I go on shallowbay.com when I get home tomorrow night.

^ That night was so awesome, being in front row seeing your favorite bands preform right in front of you is just beyond amazing. :) But, meeting them & being friends with them is way better! :O

Proud member Of:

:)

Doing some housework today. I may just bake some cookies today since we have a new roaster oven! We all went out to Wal Mart the other day & went grocery shopping. :)

After I get some housework done, I am going to make some really yummy spaghetti. First, I put some fresh peppers and/or mushrooms in the pan and I let it cook for about 15 mins then, I add the sauce. When the spaghetti is all done I put mozzarella cheese on the spaghetti then pour on the sauce. To top it all off I put mozzarella cheese on top of the sauce. It just tastes so yummy. :)

I feel like making some layouts today too. I'll probably make some Christmas ones because I have the software for some of the stickers for the images. :)

Little Paul is sleeping on my bed. I took a few pictures of her with my blanket over her. She is just so cute!!! She always sleeps at the edge of my bed. :)
My precious little Paul bear. In April, it will be a total of four years since I got her. =)

I am going to make some hot chocolate with whipped cream. It's just that time of the year for hot chocolate. :D
I am off to do the housework. I will post a few pictures later today. :)

Just in the process of wrapping a Christmas gift. I only bought two Christmas gifts so far. The day after Thanksgiving is when I will get most of my Christmas shopping done. Less than two weeks away till Thanksgiving already!
I plan on doing a bit of baking around Thanksgiving & Christmas. Not much baking though. :D
On the news they said, that putting stuffing inside the Turkey can cause salmonella, I have never heard of that before. We usually just cook the stuffing separately anyway.
So, we are going up to Naperville next month, most likely we are going to visit Grandma H since her birthday is around the time we are going up there. We will only be 16 miles away. :)
I am excited, I may bake something to bring up there for her birthday.
We are supposed to get snow showers today. We aren't supposed to get any accumulation, just a light dusting.
Well, I guess I better stop posting here since, I have wrap up the rest of this gift & go out in a little bit.
Have a great day all!

Tomorrow Is The Big Day!

A7X is tomorrow! :)
It's been a little over 3 years since I last saw them.
I have been a fan of A7X since their album "Waking The Fallen".

I remember when I first saw them live the crowd was crazy LOL.
Crowd surfers were passing over me every minute it seemed. It was my wildest show I have ever been to. I really dislike the moshing though. That whole Warped Tour that day was actually pretty wild. I met Synyster Gates that day too.. He was in disguise though, but I knew who he was & he lied to me LOL.
Oh well though.
I don't like some of the things they do. But, I do enjoy their music though! :)

I am really looking forward to seeing A7X tomorrow! I am also looking forward to seeing Shinedown too, I have been a fan of them since "45" came out.
I saw Saving Abel in concert when they came to Peoria with Seether back in Sept. They were pretty good live!
It may be a little bit too cold tomorrow though. Will see how the weather turns out!
Hopefully I'll get to meet them tomorrow! :D

Today Was Lovely

It was such a beautiful day out today! I am glad there will still be a few more days like today this week! I am gonna miss the warm weather.
I went out to take the garbage out late this morning & then walked around the block.
Then, later in the afternoon I just sat out in the yard for an hour or so.

It felt like it could storm out, too. Some of the clouds looked like they had rain drops in them, lol.

It's going to be in the 70's until Wednesday then, it's supposed to be in the 40's & 50's for the rest of the week.

There were no trick or treaters around this area tonight. I dressed up. I guess you could say I was spider girl haha.

As we were coming home in the evening we drove through a few towns & there was hardly anybody out trick or treating. I always enjoyed handing out candy to the trick or treaters.
About the last 4 years we haven't had any. I guess not many people care about dressing up for Halloween anymore it seems.
I am 19 years old & I have been dressing up for Halloween for about 15 years or so. That's about as far back as I can remember me being dressed up for Halloween. But, I do enjoy being in costume. :)

This is the candy I have left. Not very much. I gave half of what I had to David for the kids to eat.

Since I have Sunday & Monday off I will be straighting up around the house. It needs a little bit done in the living room. It will get taken care of. :)
Hope everybody had a great Halloween!
Going to be giving candy out for Halloween tonight. I am dressing up, lol.
I am going to wear my long purple skirt that I got about 3 years ago. I probably wore it about 10 times. The past 4 years we haven't got any trick or treaters. I remember the first two years we lived out here we had at least 10. I enjoy dressing up & handing out candy. Always have. :)
Trick or treating hours are from 5:30pm until 8:30pm. I have plenty of candy to give out this year, lol. I have to go dig my spider web cape out of the closet later. I will take plenty of pictures later & maybe a video. The weather is gonna be warm so yay! :) I am excited, that's why I am up later. Haven't been up this late in a few weeks or so. On WGN they are going to have a Munsters marathon starting a 3pm! Always love watching that show.

Anyway, later this morning/afternoon my family & I are going out to Champaign to Steve & Barry's to see what's going on there, then, we will go to Wal-Mart & Aldi's for some groceries for us & the pets. :)
I will try to post in the evening.
Until then,

Autumn Leaves.

Yesterday we went out to Howard Virgin Park a few miles outside of town. I just wanted to see the autumn scenery. Not all of the trees there were turning. So, I'll be making a trip back there soon, LOL. I haven't been to this park in over two years. Wow.

I have never seen a bug like this before.

I posted this on my Deviant Art account & someone commented it & said, it's part of the praying mantis species. I have never heard of those types of bugs before. I really don't like bugs anyway. It's wonderful how you can learn new things each day!

Some Newest Additions To The Family & More. :O

Four babies & mommy :) Gosh, the little ones are such stinkers lol.
These babies were born about a few weeks ago. I can't wait to see what colors they turn out to be.

These here are Rainbow's great grandchildren. The cinnamon blue one reminds me so much of the bird I used to have named "Zork" He's got the same colors & the same dot on the back of his little head. :) His mother & father had 3 babies this time.
This one here looks just like his great grandfather. They are just so darling.

We bought Rainbow from the pet store back on March 27th, 2000. He passed away Oct. 15th, 2003. It felt like we had him longer than that though. He was my angel. I used to pretend to have a bird in my hand & he would always fly down on my hand & when he saw there was no bird in my hand sometimes he would fly away. But he always fell for it LOL. I miss him so much but I know someday I will see my little Rain again.

His son Rainbow Jr. Born May 12th, 2001. Still living & well! :) We just call him Jr pretty much lol.
Jr's son & daughter Rainbow & Bullwinkle. Jr's sister was named Bullwinkle. We got rid of her though. She was a mean bird lol. We named this one Bullwinkle because it looks just like her except the other Bullwinkle was blue. This Bullwinkle is a sweet bird :) As you can see Rainbow the 3rd looks just like his grandfather Rainbow. :)

This little guy is Jr's other daughter's son. He looks just like his great grandpa doesn't he? :)
Well, now you know some of the history of the Rainbow family :)

One Year Ago At Exactly This Time..

I met Adam for the first time. He is the lead singer of 3DG. It was such an amazing experience meeting one of my heroes for the first time. He took the time to take a picture with me. I got a hug from him. 3DG was doing a signing & after waiting in line for about 15 minutes they cut the line off. So, I thought to myself I guess I am not gonna get to meet 3DG after all. But, my mom went up to Adam, shook his hand and told him we drove all this way to see them for my birthday and could you take a picture with her for her birthday & he said, alright!
So, I got a hug from him & he told me happy birthday and we took a picture together.
It's not my best picture but, oh well Adam is in it!
I was not able to meet the rest of 3DG though. It was ok because I got to meet Adam.
I just can't believe it's been 1 year already. This was at pointfest down in St. Louis, Mo.
I have seen 3DG 3 times since then. As each day passes by I miss them more & more. I cannot wait to see them again.

Concert & Randomess Talk.

So, I have some things to post about. Been busy these past few weeks so, it was kinda hard to update.

I was browsing through the Teresa dolls on eBay earlier this month & I finally found the one I had & still have since I was a younger girl. The one I had since I was a younger girl is kind of worn out, but still in in ok shape. So, I put a bid on it & won the bid! Yay! I was excited.
Finally, after a few years of searching of trying to find out the name of the Teresa doll I finally know. :)
I am glad I have it. :)

Sept. 21st. We went to Peoria for the Seether, Saving Abel & State Of Shock concert.
We were in front row for the whole show!
I have never heard of State Of Shock before the concert was announced. They put on a great show! Mom said, that the lead sing looked like Adam.. But to me he really did not look like him LOL.
Saving Abel was pretty good. The singer, Jared jumped off the stage & ran past the crowd touching hands & I got to touch his hands. LOL
It was my 5th Seether show within a year! They rocked the show like always.
Almost caught a guitar pic from Troy. Nobody caught it because it fell somewhere close.
I would go on & on about the show but, it would be to long on here lol. So, after the show we went by the tour bus area. We waited out there for like an hour then, Dale from Seether came out! :)
Signed autographs for everybody & took pictures with everyone! He was nice! :)

Dale & I
Then, Troy & John came out I was like oh my gosh I can't believe it. They were chatting with the fans, taking pics with them & also signing things for them! :)
I got to chat with them for a few minutes.

John & I

Troy & I

Shaun came out, too! It was awesome finally after six years I got to meet Seether! Yay!
I got to talk to Shaun for a few mins also. :) He signed my ticket.
He was really nice. I got a hug from him too. :)

Shaun & I

I took a couple of pictures with each member. I feel that my life is almost complete now. :)
Oh, what a wonderful feeling it is to meet one of your favorite bands! :)

12 Stones. :)

Well, Just didn't feel like going to bed early tonight. My stomach has been kind of bothering me also.

The band formed in 2000. Released their first Cd in 2002. 2002 is when I first heard of them. Loved them ever since then. They have a total of three albums out. :)
I finally got to meet the lead singer, Paul McCoy last September down at Pointfest. :) Such a nice guy! He is one of my heroes. Paul & I talked on Myspace when I first got one. He remembered me from Myspace! :-) What a birthday I had last year!!
Anyway, this song "Lie to me" is from their latest Cd "Anthem For The Underdog". Enjoy!
:-)

Righteous Kill Review.

Well, I was a bit shocked at some of the behavior in the movie. I had no idea there were some "bad" scenes if you know what I mean in this movie. I just sat there & covered my eyes when those parts came on. They honestly do not need that crap in a movie. Some of the language in it was something else, too.
I don't think I have ever seen a movie like that in my life. Well, without those parts & language, it was an ok movie.

Going To A Movie Tonight..

I am almost all better. My nose isn't running like it was. We are going to see "Righteous Kill"
With Robert De Niro & Al Pacino. From the trailer it looks like a good movie!
I'll have a review on it later.

Gas Prices..

Well, went out to Bloomington early this morning because, I had to return some tickets to a concert that had been canceled. The gas prices on our way in to Bloomington were $3.95 a gallon, within a hour the price jumped up to $ 4.19 a gallon! Wow, it may go higher than that! I remember about 6 years ago it went down to $0.99 cents a gallon. I don't believe we will be seeing that price again. Oh well, we have to pay what we have to pay to get around. People will probably travel less again like they did a few months ago. Hopefully it will go back down again soon.

Finally feeling better. Two days ago I woke up with a sore throat, later that day I went to Wal Mart to get ZICAM. Well, a little while after I took it I started feeling better. My sore throat went away that evening. My nose is a little runny now, but, I feel alive again.
Try ZICAM it really helps. It's around $8.50 at Wal Mart.
Quite a few people I talked to said they were sick. They thought it was the weather change that did it as well. Hopefully by Monday this runny nose will be gone, I hope.

I will try & post something on my other blog after I get home tonight. If I feel up to it.

To all my sick readers, I hope you all feel well again soon.

Talk soon,
Jackie

Photography. :)

Went out & about today. I am so glad I took my camera with me. I got some real good shots today. It was such a pleasant day out today!
Look at these beautiful butterflies!
There must have been at least 15 of them on that bush. It was such a pretty sight seeing all of those beautiful butterflies!

I guess you can call these wild berries! They look like they are plastic but, they are not. I find them to be so pretty!

The most prettiest color morning glory I have ever seen! Such a beautiful color.

I took many more photos today. I don't want to post them all out in the public. Because, I don't want them all stolen.. I am sure you understand that.
I just love taking photos so much. The earth is just so wonderful & prettyful. God created such beauty.

Where Were You September 11th?

Well, it's been almost seven years since we have been attacked. Seems like people forgot about September 11th. I haven't. Seems like as each Anniversary approaches I cry more & more for those people. It's so heart breaking what happened.
I was 11 years old when it happened. I remember sitting in the living room & I was flipping through the TV channels & Dad said, wait go back! So, I went back to the channel ABC news had breaking news. The people on the news said, it was a plane malfunction. A few minutes later we saw the second plane hit. People were falling from the buildings. =/
It was so heart breaking to see those people falling. They suffered so much that day.
The whole day is just so clear to me. We watched most of the coverage on Fox news. Dad taped that whole day on our VCR. I don't know where the tapes are now though.
September 11th brought people together. People were so much nicer & loving towards one another after it happened. I remember watching the coverage on Fox news when the news guy was walking down the streets near the World Trade Center everyone was helping everybody.
It was so nice to see how people that didn't even know each other cared about each other. Within the last few years it seems like people got cold hearted & mean again. Also, it seems like people forgot about September 11th. I didn't, I will never forget!
