A Very Yummy Feast

We had our St. Patty's Day feast today. We didn't have time to make the food yesterday since we were out most of the day.

The cabbage boiling in the pot this morning.

Potatoes & corned beef.

It was quite tasty.

We are supposed to get showers this afternoon. I must go to the park before it rains.
It's nice & peaceful just to sit down and enjoy the weather while reading a book!
I changed my layout & most of my pictures are gone. I will fix that later on today.

Have a nice day!

Ranch wrap finished. :-0
Again, looks like a burrito. I put so much shredded lettuce & cheese in it, it was kind of hard to fold it on the bottom.

Also had some vegetables on the side.
It was a very tasty lunch! :-)

In a little bit, I am going out for a walk. Taking my camera with me, too!
Have a great afternoon.

On The Menu for Lunch

I am making a dish I have never tried at home before. It's quite healthy. It's going to be boiled chicken wrapped in tortillas with cheese & shredded lettuce. I can't wait to make it! I am also going to boil some vegetables. :)

Pictures to come in a little while.

You will need:
1/4 cup of water
1/3 cup of vegetable oil
2 eggs ( I used 3 for cake like brownies)

1.
Preheat oven on 350 for 15 mins.
Use a metal or a glass pan. Grease (or use cooking spray) bottom of pan.

2.
Stir brownies mix, pouch of Hershey's syrup, water, oil and eggs in a medium bowl until well blended. Spread in Pan.

3.
Bake at 350 for 50 - 60 mins or until toothpick or fork inserted 2 inches from side of pan comes out almost clean; cool. To cut warm brownies easily, cut with a plastic knife using short sawing motions. Store tightly covered.

Before it went in the oven.

After it was done.

Random Talk.

Went grocery shopping yesterday. I went down the baking isle & I saw strawberry cake mix! I was gonna buy it, but decided not to since it's to hot to have the oven on for over an hour these days. When the weather cools down I'd like to get into baking cakes again. Seems like my hobby these days is just being outside enjoying the summer & taking photos. Yesterday evening we went out to Sarku Japan.
A very good Japanese fast food place in the Marketplace mall in Champaign. The best dish there is their yummy Chicken Teriyaki combo. They give you alot of food there for your money. One dish is enough for two people! LOL. Check the place out if you have one in your area!
I hope I receive my Heath Ledger action figure in the mail soon. I won it off of Ebay last week.

Not doing much tonight, just kicking back & relaxing.

Chocolate Muffins *Yummy*

Earlier today I baked some Chocolate Muffins :)
This is my first time baking Chocolate Muffins. I think they turned out ok for being my first time making them.
I already had two of them. This is how they turned out after I took them out of the oven.

Nice & moist! I just looked in the fridge & there is only two left!
Anyway, tonight I am making a ham & cheese sandwich with mayo & mustard on Italian bread. It's much too hot to fire up the oven. In this type of heat I like to eat lighter.
