I've been locked inside your Heart-Shaped box for weeks

I picked up this poster of Kurt Cobain today at a garage sale for $1.00. They had several other rock posters for $1.00, too, that I did buy like Metallica and Kiss. But this one really struck me to take a picture of it as it is an awesome photograph. The raw black and white and the pose Cobain did is just excellent.

Pointfest Part 2.

Michael from Volbeat. Great show! Bullet For My Valentine. Another awesome set. Ben a fan of these guys for quite a few years now and it was quite a treat to see them live. Papa Roach. They never fail to amaze me. Their set was awesome. :)Lots of energy as usual. Three Days Grace!!! It was definitely one of the best Three Days Grace shows I've seen. Matt Walst, thank you so much for stepping in and helping Three Days Grace out. You ROCKED Pointfest. I did not expect any less from you, you're amazing. :) Thank you Brad, Barry, Neil and Dani for an awesome show!!

Pointfest May 12th, 2013 Part 1

Stardog Champion! I was in second row for Stardog Champion. They put on an awesome show. Halestorm! Second row for Halestorm and they absolutely rocked it as usual!! It was fun singing along and dancing to the music. They opened up the show with "Freak Like Me." :D Can't wait 'til I get to see them again. :) Stay tuned for Pointfest pictures part 2. ;)

Let's Just Say...

Let's just say, Pointfest was freaking awesome. The bands I got to see were; Stardog Champion, POD ( listened to them while they were on the next stage over while waiting for Halestorm.) Halestorm, Volbeat, Bullet For My Valentine, Papa Roach and Three Days Grace. All bands did great.Hard to pick a favorite band that night. I semi lost my voice from all the yelling and screaming I did during Three Days Grace's set. It was definitely one of the best Three Days Grace shows I've seen. I will try to have a blog post up tomorrow with some pictures. I would have posted sooner, but I have been busy and it has been really hard to find time to sit by the computer and blog when it has been so nice out weather-wise lately. Welcome To Rockville; Three Days Grace

Some recent concert videos of Three Days Grace. I must say, TheCorruptedGhost did a great job on these videos. I am very excited that in two weeks from today, I will be at Pointfest in St. Louis seeing Three Days Grace with Matt Walst. I have seen Three Days Grace several times before, but this will be my first time seeing Matt Walst singing with them. I know it will be amazing, no doubt. I can't wait to see them!

I said a couple years ago when I get a bike I'd ride up to Moraine State View Park. Well, I found a good deal on a bike yesterday and picked it up and earlier today, I rode it up to Moraine State View Park. A beautiful 70 degree day today here. It was a long six miles getting there due to a lot of hills, so I had to walk it up some of the hills, but the six miles getting back was a breeze. I got a little sunburned on my arms! This early. This is one of my homes away from home. I have many good memories here from my first date trail walking here to trail walking with good friends and also having a cookout one summer with my friends and their babies. Life is beautiful.We all have ups and downs and get through them with God, music, family, and good friends. There are times when I don't feel appreciated after all I do for some people. But that is life sometimes. Don't take one day, one good friend for granted. Cherish the time and the memories you have. Also, don't dwell on all the bad times because it will only make you feel bad and keep you from really having much happiness. Only try and mention them when you are telling someone your experience and what you learned from them.
